hey ppl! =) an update after not-so-long. its an improvement isnt it? =p
i had a real interesting day today! hehe..went for brunch@jogoya jap restautant in starhill with family and aunts. i have not been to all these high-class-super-expensive places and today was an experience for me i tell you! hehe..
argh im soo lazy to write bout it now..but i did manage to take a few pics of the some of the interesting things i found there!! hehe.. and yes, i tried to take those pics as "unobviously" as i could so i wouldnt appear so jakuned! =p anyway here you go..!
reached there @ 1130. and this is the first place i "conquered"!! =p hahah had lotsa sashimi (salmon not as good as i expected), oysters (yumyum), california roll, a lil cold udon (to conserve my stomach for other yummy foods..=p).. the whole restautants really cool cos they have mist coming out around the food area (yes i know its dried ice =p). its gives a sorta "magical" feeling..haha..
then i went to get some drinks, and look what ive discovered!! a WHOLE stack of mini coconuts! and its even better since its unlimited! ahaha..
so, i took one each for everyone..look how small and cute it is? =p i was like AHHH!! graab..hehe..
my parents had some steamboat thingie. i was like ehh, they put the soup on paper!! looks cool right~ haha..
another cute thing was that when i took a teapot from the dimsum area, thinkin it was tea inside (cos there were no labels ok!), i was shocked to find crabstick and chicken inside it! haha..i suppose its some soup thing and ive no idea why they would wanna put it in a teapot!
i also saw this super romantic seating place! i was like..ahhh i would wanan sit there! if i ever go back there, that is.. *hint hint* hehe..=p
after having eaten ever so much to make the buffet worth it (thats the thing bout buffet you know..ahah i seem to have the idea that the more you eat, the more worth it the money you paid! ahha), we went for a some window shopping in starhill..my mom wanted to check out the price of some gucci and lv handbag she bought in dubai. apparently, its bout 20-30% cheaper there, so she was quite happy bout it! haha.
oh yeah, mom said dubai is a VERY beautiful place- the buildings, the food, and most importantly, i saw an EVEN MORE beautiful beach in the postcard she brought home!!! haha.. i hope i can visit it soon enough! =)
anyway, before going home, we made a "trip" to the ladies. and OMG! they have 2 enormous wheels for the tap! its like, there will be this person there, turning the wheels and then water will start flowing out from the tap! i was awed!! *argh now i really sound like a caveman!* too bad i didnt go to the extent of taking pics of that toilet. but its such a waste really. for such an interesting mechanism..in the toilet..
hahah yeah..so when i went out of sharhill, i felt like i was transported back from some fantasy place to the normal world. thus, i made a promise to myself- i want to be rich! or for at least a certain period of my life, to live through what a millionaire would experience everyday! ahh the luxuries! this is something that i would nv agree on before, cos i always think that happiness is more important than money, BUT after seeing what im missing..BAH! =p (not that im complaining bout now, im perfectly happy of how i am today! and glad for it!=})
anyway i better get to studying now. havent revised at ALL for my tests! sigh........=*(
