as i said, loving the weekends, cos this only means that i need not worry bout sleeping late (as much). WHEE! :)
so whats been happening lately, you ask. firstly, i must say that work are pilling up!! uni is really not all that easy, esp in lse, where everything is self study etc. and i just realised that the importance of laptop in uni life man.. its like, your laptop is your life kinda thing, cos basically everything i do requires it eg checking timetable, emails, lecture slides & recordings, chatting and keeping in touch.
also, i feel so cheated!! ive only like what 8 hours of lectures (some of which are so boring and thus useless), 4 hours of class per week, and my parents have to work their butts off to pay an exorbitant amount of tuition fees for me. sigh..
i need an imbursement. badly. argh!
i stayed in this whole sat.. woke up at 12++pm (YES!!). helena and the whole northumberland gang went to watch arsenal vs manu at bout 11 i think.. so, i slowly, lazily tried to do some logics.
then suddenly, a whole (i would say) clump of emotions took over.. wasnt really sure what it was.. maybe its the loneliness of staying in alone on a saturday, or that i havent talked to my family for quite a while, the amount of work i have yet to complete, or maybe its just those things tht girls get once in a while.. all those made me miss home even more :( but then again, i was glad in a way cos i actually get to sit down and have some work done.
and then and then and then, i got an email from mummy asking to skype! :) its been quite long since i last spoke to my family, bout 3-4 days? so yeah was very happy when i got to talk to my parents! love you mummy daddy elaine! MUAH!
luckily i did man! cos all these while, i, for some weird distorted reason, thought that my allowance was 25pounds a week. the week before, i spent bout 51 pounds (buying table lamps, fan heater, water filter etc la okay! hehe), and the week before before, 30 pounds. so i was a lil stressed and was wondering how in the world could i have overshot my budget by so much.
halfway chatting, i realised that my allowance is actually 4 times more bwahahaha!!! its just so funny how i really thought that my allowance was only 25, and i tried to cut down as much as possible on food by tapauing bread to school, controlling my groceries spending, and refrain from eating out.. you have no idea man, can ask hel.. she can tell im sure.
i jsut find this whole incident extremely funny, i just cant believe it :P
felt so so much better after talking to my parents. then proceeded to clean up (yes, yet again) my messy room and table. felt good after that as well! the day is finally getting better! :)

and guess what! i (sorta) cooked dinner today! for 4 person!! hehe.. i volunteered to cook for hel (cos she was sick poor dear!), jun and xiong (who claim to be exhausted since they walk back for 30 min from grocery shopping with duuh, heavy groceries). but in the end, all of them went to the kitchen as well, hel being hel who just wanted to help, while the 2 guys just couldnt trust me being in the kitchen unsupervised. haha. its really funny. and i seriously think that xiong has this thing against me man, he keeps insulting me! evil xiong! *_*
unfortunately, the speg didnt turn out good. sauce was too watery, resulting in tastelessness. 3 of them, being an angel, insisted that it was good blabla when so obviously it wasnt. anyways, the point is, i will improve! my cooking skills shall increase tenfold by the time i go back to msia next yr!! *eyes glittering with determination!!*
haha, and if you noticed, no extravagant pics on food this post. cos as i said earlier, was trying to spend less on food and so i cooked speg most of the time. nothing much. just you wait till next week ;P
OH WAIT!
went to mr wu's for chinese buffet yesterday with hel, tammi, angela, jason and neil. shd at least eat out once a week right, or so i felt even when i thought i overspent! hehe. 4.95pounds per person! hehe.. we decided on that as hel, jason, neil and i were so hungry we could eat an elephant. they served pepper beef, wanton without the filling, fries, fried noodles, rice, fried chicken, go-lou-yok-like chicken and vege. it wasnt that great, but it wasnt bad either. worth the price la i would say. i ate like 3 mountain plates full :O the rest had significantly less than me. made me feel like a glutton bleh. jason had a plate and a half and hes gone! so lil right! its a buffet man!!

another highlight of the week was celebrating halloweens eve on the 30th! there was a big event on that day - espionage. but it was damn damn ex, 15pounds per person, for the usual charity thing, held at some posh club or sth. and its formal! but hel and i decided against it, and off we went to ministry of sound along with some northumberland ppl. wanted to check it out since its so famous and all. keep hearing bout it, so must go at least once right! :P

born a camwhore, die a camwhore :)so in conclusion, i would say that MOS is quite a nice place. we danced so so much that our feet were really sore. we even danced on top of a speaker! twas good fun :) a lady saw us all in heels at the bus stop and cant help but said to me, "the things we do for glamour". hahah. right, girls! :P
getting late peeps, and im suppose to go jogging at 10 tom!! *crosses finger and hopes the will to wake up surpasses the temptation of staying in bed*
