finally, hols has started- still cant believe that the first term has actually ended.. it seems as tho everything passed in a blink of an eye.. i can still remember my first week here.. my parents came with me to settle down and all, ie shifting in to my new room, buying necessities, visiting places etc.. im so glad they came, without them i dont think i could have managed quite as well :)

oh no, its actually monday morning now :S nvm, will try to recall what happened as accurately as possible! :)

went to maths lecture as usual for an hour at 11am, and then im freeee!!! went home for some lunch, surfed the net a bit, then went out again at 3.30pm with zhemin for some japan centre interview thingie..
for those of you who doesnt know, its like this japanese restaurant at piccadilly circus.. well, the interview was pretty standard ie why are you at london, why do you wanna work etc. the manager asked if i could work from bout 15-20hours a week nxt year, but i was like quite hesitant and kinda told him that i would prefer 15hours, which he said was quite lil..
ah screw it man, if i dont get the job, im fated to not work :) just gotta study much much harder to secure my first class!
went to buy some goggles at lilywhites after that, cos i lost mine after using it only for two times here! sigh! :( i was showering, holding the shampoo, conditioner and body foam, but then i left my goggles there! realised it just before was going out to meet my student mentor, wesley, at the entrance..
damn sad ler, within so short a time, my goggles are gone! no one reported it to the lost and found.. oh well, at the time, a whole bunch of primary school kids were there after swimming lessons too, so yeah.. boo them!
anyways, ive gotten a new pair for 4.49pounds! and this one wont fog since its new! whee! :):) also, obviously, i would stop at the ladies department, and guess what?
im now the proud owner of these! the blue pumps are soo comfy while the pink one jsut looks so cute! nice right? happy happy!! ahah..
13pounds for my new babies! :Pwalked around somemore till 6pm, then went to meet ds, dh, dn, istee, nat and oliver for dinner at mayflower.. the food theres really good! ds ordered so many things for us (cos he was extremely hungry at that time, haha!)- a total of 7 dishes + fried rice for 5 person for the 7 of us!! omg! quite nice to meet up with mc ppl once in a while to catch up and all :)
during dinner, norman called! he was at chinatown as well with his mom.. having dinner at mr.wu! and its not hte 4.95pounds, but the 8.90pounds one! didnt even know it exists man, a more exp mr.wu? haha..
ohh, and on the way from piccadily to mayflower, the most coincidental thing happened! its like, i was talking with zhemin, then i heard the extremely distinguishable msian accent, so i couldnt help turning back, and it was none other than samuel and kok ding! so omg right!! they were heading towards chinatown as well.. they're going for the imp ski trip on sat, so nice!
anways, met up with norman after that! since he has never been around this area much, and he was searching for a pressie for his gf, so off we went- shop-hopping!
went into trocadero, and saw a candy shop!!!! it soo reminded me of "the boy" by roald dahl!! now i can imagine why roald dahl was so excited bout the candy shop when he was younger!
and so, both norman and i decided to explore the candy shop.. after one round, it was so tempting that both of us agreed to buy and share the sweets! 99p for 100g!!
with norman, i dont have to worry bout being jakuned and everything for taking pictures, even at the weirdest places! cos hes so sporting (he really is!) and he loves taking pro photographes as well! sometimes i dont geddit, why some ppl dont wanna do something jakunned/ slightly embarrasing.. i mean, nobody will recognize you, and you only live once! :)
