i just spent my whole saturday at home. it feels great to me! i know it sounds damn weird, like who thinks staying at home is fun right? but i havent had this luxury in ages, and am thus embracing it!

woke up on my own pace at 11am, and went to work out in the gym! (i aint feel no thinner damnnit!)

came back bout 2+pm, then immediately msn video-ed my family, who are still happily celebrating cny back home! no fair!

bout 4pm, attempted to study... but to no avail! was like partially chatting online while doing maths.. man, ive really no discipline! :(

and i dunno what i did, its 3.02am now? but im feeling happy cos its been ages since i chatted with so many ppl and all! talked to many old friends and lse-ians! feels good to actually catch up once in a while. havent been socialising much hehe! and since i cant go out for lunches and all, the only other best alternative is to go online eh! hahah!

anyways, was invited to chris' open house last night. his new place is the bomb man! just 4 stops after king cross, and only a lil <100pounds a month! and the environment is lovely and his house is cosy and his housemates are nice (according to him). so happy for him!! :)

since it was the first big party since he moved in, he and his housemates invited friends over, and my goodness- there were so many ppl from so many countries!! when we first arrived, we met this japanese girl yumika (i think) who is a fan of malaysia and the malay language! thats definitely a first for me! she bombarded hel and i questions on msia which we gladly answered! our country, must feel proud right!! :)

also, besides meeting christelle, seb and puru, there were sebs housemates, their teacher and many other ppl la (from japan, korea, america and all over france) cant remember half their name after only one day, so confusing!! but it really felt like an international thing! haha.


i passed my cam to this guy, suppose to take picture but my cam was in video mode, so vid it is! ;)


then i was talking to sebs and chris teacher (forgot his name). its like, hes from costa rica, shifted to paris for a few years and since the last 3 years have been coming up to london once a week to teach! he even interviewed bill gates once cos he has some connections with microsoft! hmm. while talking, i was constantly sharing my big fat packet of crisp with him hahah, so that i will eat less :P


hel and i are such lousy drinkers! both of us shared like an orange vodka and an orange malibu and we already got so red!! i felt quite horrible after a while, so went to puke in the toilet. (his toilet is so clean omg im impressed!!)

thats when i saw christelle and lucy (??) chatting on the stairs and of course, went to join them!
lucys from cannes in france and from what im told, its hot and sunny all year round and more importantly, its famous for its film festivals! shes seen johnny depp, angelina jolie and brad pitt up close before OMG!!!

and, shes only 17 and is actually on her hols.. i was so shocked cos i thought she was around our age, 19-20ish! really such a friendly girl as you know some angmohs can be stuck up sometimes! :)


time passes by just like that when we were happily chatting and enjoying. it was a lil after 1am that hels and my "asian flush" receeded, and it was safe to go home! haha. before that, a group pic!


all in all, i really enjoyed my time there. chris was so nervous at first cos there were so many ppl and he wanted to make sure everyone felt comfortable. but yeah it was worth all his effort! i felt more exposed to all the different cultures out there, and the things other ppl do for their own reason.

cant wait to go to paris during easter!!!
