it has been some time since enn swan and i suggested to visit each other in manchester and london respectively.
after all the talk, i finally went down to manchester on easter day, both for a visit and to celebrate enn swans happy 20th! :)
for those of you who dont know, shes like my primary school mate from puay chai. yes, those were the days!!
enn swan with the easter chocs her aunt gave her.. too pretty to eat larr!
i still had one in the end :P
my first day was spent indoors cos i was feeling sooo cosy and all in her room + i didnt sleep at all the previous night.
so yeah, my trip to manchester starts DAY 2! :P
enn swan brought me to the city centre, which was like only a 15 min walk from her weston hall! so nice!! her hall is like my hall actually, so close to everywhere! lucky us (this year only tho for me! eek!)
they have trams in manchester! *jakunned!*
on the way to high street (where all the shops are!)
off we went shopping! shopping in uk is not fun at all as most of the things are ex!!! argh! ooh but there was this buy 1 free 1 sale at dp which was quite good!
but ive been spending so much of late, cannot simply spend anymore!!! :(
save money for trips!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

such a beautiful cathedral..
it was really peaceful inside..
i went in and immediately felt calm, twas a good feeling :) sorta made me wish i believed in god..
haha doesnt she look cute? huggs! 8 years, cant believe it!
after a lot of walking (we rested our poor feet at M&S- swan had this super good toasted sandwich while i had some super good smoothie yum!), we were both sooo tired that it was time to go home! yes, the nice comfy room!!
but by the time we reached home, it was already time for dinner! so basically we started to cook right after we got home :P
enn swan tried to cook her aunts custard and honey pork, which was a success!
nah proof! :p
she also suggested that we made dessert.. not jsut any dessert, but APPLE CRUMBLE!!!!!!!
OKAY BAD NEWS for you apple crumble lover out there!
altho it doesnt look very fattening, but i can safely tell you that it is the MOST FATTENING dessert on earth! omg! i practically used half a tube of butter + 15 spoonfuls of sugar for the crust! not forgetting the traditional custard topping! sinful!

i was in charge of making the crust! notice how it looks breadcrumb-like! not easy to get that effect ok! at first it was too "wet" cos i put too much margarine, then too smooth cos i mixed too much! but it all ended well.. phew!

believe it or not, my virgin ben&jerry's. one word- yummiliscious!!

altho it was a bit burnt (only on the top tho i have to stress!!), it was so damn good! esp with custard!

slept at a normal humanly time that day, bout 1am? well, its an improvement!!
on my 3rd day, went to visit MU stadium + trafford centre!
ala, why rain la when i was visiting the stadium!
old trafford is the name of the stadium!

when i saw ronaldo, the person who immediately sprung to my mind was hel!! haha!

i was trying to find one (JUST ONE) good looking fella there to pose with, but found none! so dont care la, just took a picture!

omgomg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my first time in a proper shopping mall after god knows how long!! it felt soo good you had no idea! :)

the first shop we saw upon arrival was jane norman!!!!!!! whee! its fated la i tell you! <3
im bridging between sizes 8 and 10 now!! :(
she bought this top we found at miss selfridge for only 12 pounds!! so happy for swan! :)
i dont care if i look fat, but i really love this dress!! it wasnt on sale so i wasnt bothered to check the price! :P
the grand entrance! so cool right! with the chandelier and all..
yes i miss the beach that much! ;P
the foodcourt is humongous! check out the "ship" concept, so pretty right! :)
that was it for the day! on march the 25th night, we celebrated enn swans 20th buttday at china city and proceeded to some bar after that! (no pictures from then cos its all in the other cams!)
i could tell that she really enjoyed herself that night, surrounded by good company and food! i feel really happy for you girl! :)
and if youre reading this, thanks for hosting me these 4 days yeah girl! it'll be my turn when you come to london next time! heh hehh!
ok thats all for now.. im back in london = back to studying mode. wish me luck!
